lucky charm.

Meet Charm, the new 4-legged addition to our MPLS home. She was rescued by Best Friends Animal Society after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina - they found her running the streets of New Orleans in search of a safe haven. And, she was found! Francis and Silva have taken wonderful, unconditional care of her (thank you!), and now we are absolutely thrilled and lucky to have her with us.

Named after Charmaine Neville, we like to play "with you in mind" by the jazz great. It's fast becoming her theme song.

Charm, you lucky girl. Your own special home, your own blog and a whole new life ahead. How exciting. Your fan club here has been asking after you and are thrilled that you have such a fantastic opportunity to be doted on by such a special person as Claudia. We could not be happier for you. With love,

Charm, who really knows your story? For sure you went through hell during Katrina till some angels lifted you up and carried you till you stopped shivering and suffering. They put their wings even further out helping you find a mom finding a child, one can only dream of! Love makes miracles happen! We thank your guardian angels and you "claudia", a so loving mom for being outstanding and being able to show that love and compassion can put one out of miserable situation and right into heaven! Thank you for teaching us that a bad story still can have a happy ending! Love, Maria and Wolfgang
